This women's 7-gauge mock neck short sleeve knit top is developed for contemporary apparel brands, private label fashion lines, and premium transitional retail programs. Designed with a lightweight unit weight of 130g, the garment belongs to the lightweight open-work category, offering high breathability suitable for warmer seasons or layering. The stitch architecture utilizes an advanced pointelle transfer stitch on a 7-gauge needle bed to construct a semi-sheer, lace-like geometric eyelet pattern. The yarn base consists of 70% Polyester, 20% Nylon, 8% Acrylic, and 2% Spandex. This specific composition integrates high-tensile nylon filaments to secure the structural edges of the delicate open-work areas, while the spandex component provides crucial lateral elasticity, preventing the knit loops from stretching out permanently during wear or display. The design is engineered with a fully fashioned mock neckline, casual short sleeves, and narrow rib-knit boundaries. This baseline style is configured for immediate OEM production, accommodating custom modifications to regional sizing tables, neck border adjustments, and custom-dyed seasonal color assortments.

MANUFACTURING CAPABILITY

• ✓ Eyelet Integrity Control: To prevent the lightweight 130g open-mesh pointelle patterns from dropping stitches or running under physical stress, we feed a continuous high-strength Nylon-Spandex plated yarn alongside the main yarn. This acts as a protective core, locking the perimeter of every eyelet hole to ensure high tear-resistance.
• ✓ Anti-Curl Edge Finishing: The transitions between the dense ribbing on the cuffs, collar, hem, and the open pointelle body are programmed with a specialized tension-graduated transfer stitch. This prevents the delicate open lace boundaries from curling or rippling outward after laundering.
• ✓ Micro-Tension Steam Relaxation: Due to the high ratio of open spaces, the knitted panels are highly sensitive to thermal deformation. We process all completed panels through a non-tension conveyorized steaming chamber prior to linking to pre-settle the dimensions without flattening the textured lace stitch.
